Serbian esports organization Zero Tenacity, which competes in the Polish Ultra League, won its third Polish Champions Trophy with a convincing 3-0 victory in the grand final against Orbit Anonymo.
Zero Tenacity surprised their fans and brought them a new trophy in a really dominant way. In the final, they outclassed the team that finished in first place in the group stage of the championship with a score of 13-1, the team that inflicted their only two defeats during the group stage of the league.
Orbit Anonymo was defeated for the third time by Z10 at the start of the playoffs, when they won 3-2 in the fight for direct placement in the finals, but Z10 managed to triumph in the finals of the loser's bracket and win a rematch.
Z10 convincingly opened the finals by giving up only four kills to the opponent in the first game, and the entire duel lasted 30 minutes, as Z10 had to take down the opponent's nexus. Z10 gained an early advantage over the cannon and they knew how to turn that advantage into a victory that brought them a big wind at their backs before the resumption of the match.
The second game was much more uncertain, especially in the early stages of the game, but Z10 managed to gain a big advantage between the 20th and 30th minutes with excellent team fights and break down the opposition's resistance once again.
In the third game, Orbit took an early 3-0 lead in kills, but Z10 managed to tie the score with 15 minutes to play. Where Z10 was absolutely better was the dragons, they took all four at the start of the game and got a big buff early on, after which they kicked into fifth gear and ended the game in just 26 minutes of play, giving them their third consecutive triumph and marking a new era of reign in the Ultraliga.
With this, Z10 secured another place at the EMEA Masters, where they will try to bring back the glory to Poland and the league from which many of the famous players we see in the LEC came from today.
