G2 in the LEC finals, Caps made a pentakill

G2 Esports will have a chance to win their third straight LEC title after advancing to the Spring Season Grand Finals with a 3-1 win against Team BDS.

G2 continues to dominate the region, and their new-old victim was BDS. BDS players will have a lot to complain about as they let go of a big lead twice during the match, but that is the main reason why G2 is so dominant in Europe, they are able to bounce back even when the opponent has an advantage, due to the huge amount of experience and confidence that are on their side.

Rasmus "Caps" Wither was once again brilliant and showed why he has no equal in the region, and the placement in the new final was crowned with a fifth with Aurelion Solo in the first game.

BDS had a 7,000 gold lead in the first game, but a good team fight by G2 at the half-hour mark allowed the champions to make a full comeback and take a 1-0 lead ten minutes later.

BDS managed to equalize after in the second game they made a big advantage on the bot lane from the start with the famous Lucian + Nami combination, and increased that advantage until the 32nd minute when the first and what will turn out to be the only time nexus G2 fell.

In the third game G2 ran over BDS in just over 20 minutes with a 24-3 kill score, and in the fourth game BDS had the advantage again, but they squandered it with a very poor play at Baron where they allowed their opponents to steal their precious buff and take two killa, which brought the advantage in favor of G2 who knew how to use it for the fourth victory.

BDS will have a chance to find themselves in the finals, if they beat the better team from the duel Fnatic - Team Vitality. Fnatic previously defeated Team Heretics in the battle for survival, while Team Vitality outplayed last season's MAD Lions KOI runners-up.
