Turkish jungler Can "Closer" Celik will play in LEC for the first time, where he arrives as a new player of Karmine Corp.
Karmine Corp had no success in their first two seasons in the LEC where they were relegated both times after the first stage of the season, finishing last in the standings.
Their goal is to enter the third season with major changes, and the first of them is in the jungle, a position where they had, according to many, the best player in the team, which surprised the fans. However, the coaching staff explained that they are currently unable to build the kind of team that Zhou "Bo" Yangbo deserves, which is why they allowed him to look for a new environment.
He will be replaced by Closer, a player who became famous in the Turkish league, and then moved to America, where he became the LCS champion in 2021 with the 100 Thieves team. In 2022, he played in the finals twice more, but 100 Thieves lost both times. After that, he experienced a sudden drop in form, and last year when he was one of the weakest junglers in the league.
He left 100 Thieves late last year and hasn't officially competed since.
