FaZe continued their dominance against the MOUZ team and secured their third CS2 trophy with another 2-0 win.
Although they arrived in China with the emotional burden of losing in the finals of the PGL Copenhagen Major, FaZe managed to recover and triumph in the tournament. They lost in the second round of the Group B winner's bracket to Astralis, which forced them to reach the bottom bracket for the playoffs, where they defeated first Cloud9 and then FlyQuest.
They beat Team Liquid in the quarterfinals, and took revenge on Astralis in the semifinals, finally scheduling a new duel with MOUZ, the team they beat in the finals of the last tournament they won, which was the CS Asia Championship.
The finals started on the Overpass map picked by MOUZ, and it was FaZe who were up 8-4 at the half thanks to starting the match on the CT side. In the continuation, the teams were equal, FaZe did not let go of the advantage and scored a 13-10 victory.
FaZe opened their Nuke pick strong with a 6-0 run even though they were playing the T side, and at halftime they had a four round lead again. This time they were even more convincing in the continuation and with 13-6 they put an end to the final.
FaZe Clan will not have too much time to celebrate the new trophy, because the new season of the ESL Pro League awaits them from April 23, where they will be one of the main favorites to win.
