ESL Pro League: MOUZ stops G2 Esports, ENCE outclasses Movistar Riders

At the start of the second day of quarter-final matches in the ESL Pro League, ENCE demolished the š male team Movistar Riders 2-0 with only seven rounds lost in total.

Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia was relentless against his compatriots with 41 frags and a 1.72 rating with almost 100 points per round (96.9 correct figure), and when he is fired up like this, especially on the CT side, it is no surprise that ENCE came away with a convincing victory. .

The match started on the Overpass map selected by MSR, and ENCE was able to take advantage of the CT side for a convincing 13-2 halftime lead, before taking three tied rounds for a 16-2 triumph.

Movistar Riders did not manage to recover from such a blow on the first map, which is why we saw a similar outcome on Anubis, only this time the score at halftime was 10-5 for ENCE, who then went to T side took all šsix rounds and put an end to the match with a score of 16-5.

On the other hand, MOUZ continued to achieve good results, and this time one of the main favorites of the tournament and the favorite of the local audience - G2 Esports - fell in front of them.

The stars of G2 failed in the key moments of the match & this decided in favor of MOUZ, who was able to take advantage of the significantly weaker form of the opponent. Despite that, the match was extremely uncertain on the first two maps, and G2 fans will regret the missed opportunity on Mirage, because a victory on the first map might have brought them a 2-0 triumph and a place in the semi-finals.

Instead, MOUZ took a well-deserved victory, and the action opened on the Mirage map as š we already mentioned, where we saw a tense first half in which G2 secured a minimal advantage by playing the CT side. In the sequel, G2 cost dearly the weaker game of Ilya "mONESY" Osipova who did not manage to make a single frag, š that is information that is really rarely seen. At the end of the map, MOUZ was a more agile and prepared team and won 16-13.

G2 took a narrow 16-14 victory on their pick, the map Ancient. They took an early lead, MOUZ managed to recover near the end of the map and came within a step of equalizing, but Nikola "NiKo" Kovac with three kills brought his team the third map.

Just now, NiKo played significantly worse on Inferno than we are used to, and after a 9-6 halftime for MOUZ, a complete debacle followed by G2, who took only one of the eight rounds. MOUSE won 16-7 and thus completed the top 4 of the last season of the ESL Pro League, which is played in the CS:GO version of the counter.
