We have experienced everything so far on the domestic stage, the use of chit, unfortunately, is nothing new in the world of games on a global level, not even in our country, but this is the first time that someone has been banned during the match itself. .
Team Defuse is removed from the tournament due to overwhelming evidence of player "limbus" cheating during the games.

The match of the lower part of the draw was played by iDestructive and Defuse, and it was Defuse who dominated during the decisive, third map, when with a score of 14:8 anticheat detected that a player nicknamed “limbus” was cheating during gameplay.
The player of the opposing team, limeni001, says on his Twitter account that he is sure that the player who was caught cheating is not actually from Serbia and that the name Luka Tasić he is using is not the name of the player who committed the offense. In his tweet, he states that he is a player from the CIS region, who only played tournaments from the mentioned region on his Facebook account.
I have the need to write that for some reason FURIA, which plays all our tournaments with foreigners, constantly has a zither in the team, whether he knew or not I don't really care, but I just hope that he will never participate in our tournaments with "foreigners"

The in-game leader of iNation also chimed in, who also criticized the Defuse player for often playing domestic tournaments with unknown people of dubious origins.
If these claims are true, then the whole team was aware that they were playing with a man who falsified his data. What is certain is that this player has never played a single match on HLTV, and no one has ever met him in domestic tournaments.
What is most important for the tournament itself is the fact that the attempted fraud was discovered in time, so no team will be successful during the event itself. A player who has been banned more than once will never be eligible to compete in a RES tournament.
After further investigation and reviewed materials available to the tournament organizer, all players from Team Defuse have been banned from participating in future RES competitions, including mugiwara, a player who played with them in the qualifiers. The only one who passed without sanctions is Filip "Gravity" Branković, who jumped into this team to help due to the lack of a fifth player in the same team. Eavesdropping on their teampeak conversation during the match, it's clear he wasn't aware he was competing with a cheater.
Još a lesson to all players that this kind of behavior will never be tolerated, that saying sorry is not enough and that with one mistake, you can close the door to yourself forever when it comes to a career in esports.
