Cadian once again managed to outsmart Karrigan, first in the Legends stage when Heroic beat them on Inferno, and now in the quarter-final duel. FaZe opted for Nuke, and it didn't turn out to be the best decision. Heroic had a big advantage throughout the match, it started to spill out at one point, but the Danes managed to use the last round and avoid overtime. FaZe managed to fight back on Overpass, and that's how we got to Mirage, the deciding map, where Heroic won 16:6 and advanced to the semi-finals of the BLAST Major in Paris.

The host and one of the main favorites, Vitality, defeated ITB after a lot of trouble. Already at the entrance to the arena, the ITB players made it clear that they are not afraid of the support that the host has, they argued with the audience and it seemed that they completely abandoned the role of favorites, and tried to get the most out of such a situation. At times they succeeded during Vertigo and Anubis, where they had a solid advantage during both maps, but experience and quality decided in the end in favor of Vitality.

With FaZe saying goodbye to the competition, it's clear that the last Major in CS:GO will have a new šchampion when it comes to organizations. Dupreeh is the only player who has participated in every Major that has been played, and if he wins the trophy, he will be the most decorated player in the field.
