The Challenger phase of the last Major in Paris organized by BLAST has started, so it's a good time to look back at the opening matches that were played.

The first match we watched on the TV Arena Esport channel was a duel between FaZe Clan and Team Monte. BOROS practically carried his team alone in the RMR tournament, and now he had još a phenomenal game, against one of the best teams in the world. His 28 frags weren't enough to take the win though, FaZe won 16:14 on Ancient thanks to TwistZz who managed to swing the last round against two opposing players.

In a match that started at the same time as the one mentioned above, paiN won the Brazilian derby against Flux by a score of 16:2 at Mirage.

G2 was down 11:6 on Inferno against TheMongolz at one point, but then rallied and lined up ten rounds on the T side to pull off the win. We're used to them sometimes playing with our nerves, but it's very important that they managed to win the first match, which made a nice start on their way to the biggest trophy.
Complexity managed to defeat GamerLegion on the same map, with an identical score, 16:11. Most of the casters predicted in their predictions that acoR and the team will be the favorites in this match, and as they played their best map, their defeat is a surprise for many.
Š what to say about forZe? They had a 12:3 advantage against the Grayhounds, got to fourteen rounds, and then the Australian team made an incredible run on the CT side where they didn't lose a single round and ended up winning 16:14. The saddest was naš caster Svojka, who tried to predict that Grayhound would go home without a win, and that ForZe would go three wins without a loss on his pick'em account. Now it is clear, it will be very difficult to get the famous diamond coin.
No OT this time around, as @apeksgg puts out the fire to take Ancient and go 1-0 ????@TeamLiquidCS goes to the 0-1 bracket for Round 2 pic.twitter.com/FrdZjTDYWl

Apex has seen good results and play since stepping it up toš kyxsan. His debut match at the Major took place on Ancient against Liquid, and his team started on the CT side where he himself had an incredible 18 frags at halftime. On the terrorist side, it was a little more difficult to get the frags, but with the excellent leadership of his team, he managed to bring them a victory with a score of 16:12. Mention should also be made of oSee from the opposing team who had thirty kills on the map, but was unable to win a single clutch situation even though he found himself in many of them during this encounter.
The first round stillš it's not over, and you can still watch the matches on the TV Arena Esport channel, but also on our streaming platforms, YouTube and Twitch. ENCE and OG are currently playing, come and comment together on the last biggest tournament in the CS:GO version of the game.
