Young Erik "ztr" Gustafsson will be the new captain of GamerLegion.
The Swede will have the task of filling the hole left by Janusz "Snax" Pogozerlski with his move to G2 sports. GamerLegion continues to make frequent changes, which has resulted in them now having only one player representing the team at the PGL Copenhagen Major.
The change in the IGL position is perhaps the biggest so far, especially when you consider that they have replaced experience with young talent. Ztr impressed by leading Metzport against much stronger teams on paper in online tournaments, when he showed his potential and showed that he is ready for new challenges.
Despite that, he was benched at the end of May in his team, since then he has been looking for a new environment. Ztr has been competing since 2018, and he also played for KPI Gaming, the Ninjas in Pajamas academy, and in the GODSENT team, where he was on loan.
We will have the opportunity to watch the new GamerLegion in their debut at the BLAST Premier Fall Groups tournament, which will be played from July 29 with the broadcast on Arena Esport TV.
