The French esports organization has confirmed that Remy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam is returning to the coaching position of the team.
XTQZZZ led Vitality from the coaching position from the end of 2018 until December 2021, when in one of the biggest CS:GO transfers of all time, the team took over the most trophy coach of this esport, Danny "zonic" Sorensen, who was joined by Peter "dupreeh " Rasmussen and Emil "Magisk" Reif. Vitality then became an international team, and XTQZZZ moved to the ranks of G2 Esports.
He stayed in G2 for nine months, and the biggest success in that period is the second place at IEM Katowice 2022, and after leaving G2 he was without a team for eight months, to finally take over the new European project Team SoloMida, where he stayed less than planned of two months.
He could not refuse the opportunity to return to the best team in the world according to the HLTV ranking, when the coaching position became vacant because Zonic refused to extend the contract with the team. He will continue his career in the Falcons team, which, according to unofficial information, offered him a much higher sum than the one he had in Vitality, which was the main reason for his departure.
XTQZZZ will not be with the team in Sydney due to problems with getting a visa in time, so the players will be accompanied by assistant coach Mathieu "maT" Leber.
In addition to the return of XTQZZZ, team captain Dan "apEX" Madeslcaire has extended his contract with Vitality until the end of 2026.
