In their first match in 2024, the best team in the world reminded why they are the best on the planet, and they opened the 2-0 victory against OG at the start of the spring BLAST with a 13-0 triumph over Mirage.
Vitality continued into the new year at the same pace they ended last year. With a dominant game, they easily managed to beat the OG team, which is still getting used to the new lineup.
They completely neutralized the OG on the CT side of the Mirage, only to then routinely take another round later in the game. MAthieu "ZywOo" Herbaut finished the first map with a 2.39 rating, a whopping 129.5 damage per round and a 17-4 record in frags.
At Inferno, Vitality took a 9-3 halftime lead and then held on to a 13-7 victory.
They will play in the second round against Astralis who were convincing against the Falcons (13-8 Vertigo, 13-3 Ancient).
