Valve released a new Train, changes to Overpass

undefined

Valve rolled out a big update tonight, and the main change is the long-awaited return of the massively overhauled Train map.

Once one of the most popular competitive maps where we saw many epic moments at the biggest CS tournaments, Train was removed from the active tournament map lineup back in 2021.

Now we have a map that has not only been visually changed, but has also received specific site changes that completely change the map's gameplay system, which used to be extremely favorable to the CT side.

Terrorists will now have significantly more open access to the A site, while there are more facilities on the B site. The popular "Heaven" has been removed, and you can see all the changes at the link below.

What's important to note is that there hasn't been an official map rotation in active maps yet, so we still don't know if Vertigo will be replaced as expected, or if we're in for a surprise.

The big winner of the new update is Overpass, which received changes on the A site, "Heaven" is open, and visually water has been removed from most of the map, which are just some of the changes, so now it's clear as day that the most likely and the return of the Overpass map at some point.

In addition to the maps, an option for damage prediction has been added, the animation when the player is under a flash grenade has been improved, the visual display when throwing bombs has been improved, a bomb guide has been added on the Train map, i.e. a novelty that can be expected on all new maps, and you can see the list of all changes here.">Valve rolled out a big update tonight, and the main change is the long-awaited return of the massively overhauled Train map.
