Team Spirit won the first major international trophy in the new lineup with a 3-2 victory against Virtus.pro in the grand final of the BetBom Dacha 2023 tournament.

In the second part of the game, Spirit managed to reduce the opponent's advantage to 10-8, before VP manages to tie three runs and get the victory.
We saw a similar epilogue at Ancient, although this time it was VP who took the lead 5-2, and they kept the advantage in the continuation until the 13-9 victory.
Anubis was the deciding map, and on it Virtus.pro finally woke up opening the T side 5-1. The Spirit managed to stop the bleeding until halftime when they cut the deficit to 5-7. The teams were tied in the rest, and with the score 11-9 for VP, unfortunately a very awkward situation happened, David "n0rb3r7" Danielyan started to lag, potentially disconnecting from the server, Spirit took advantage of the situation to get a precious frag and triumph in an extremely important round. The players of Virtus were visibly nervous in the continuation, and in the end both teams take 12 rounds each and introduce us to extra time. With the score 14-13 for Spirit, Myroslav "zont1x" Plakhotia manages to make an incredible 1 on 2 clutch in a post plant situation and bring his team one step closer to victory, from which Virtus.pro did not recover in the sequel and Team Spirit 16-13 puts an end to the grand finale. 16-year-old Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, currently the biggest young talent in CS2 esports, who is being fought over by the most famous teams, was declared MVP of the tournament, and according to unofficial information, Team Spirit is asking about two million dollars for his transfer.
