Relog Media has announced when the grand LAN finals of this year's RES Regional Series Championship will be held, where eight teams will compete for a prize pool of $250,000.
The final of the series of tournaments that will be played in Europe and South America during most of the year is scheduled for the period from October 16 to 19. The host Relog Media will hold the tournament in cooperation with the company 1xBet, and the event itself will take place in the premises of the Relog Media Esport Center.
In the past period, Relog Media Esport Center has hosted some of the biggest teams of the CS esports scene in its training center, which is equipped with the most modern computers and equipment, which will allow the participants of the final tournament to fight for the title and the main part of the valuable prize money in the most optimal conditions.
Among the participants will be the four most successful European teams in terms of points on the RES European Series Ranking points list, as well as two teams from South America. The remaining two participants will receive direct invitations.
The teams will be divided into two groups of four teams each, the group stage will be played according to the GSL format, after which the two best teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. All matches will be played in Bo3 format.
On the first day of the competition, the first round matches will be played, the second day brings a lot of action in the form of elimination matches and matches for the first place in the groups, while on the third day, the decisive matches for the passage to the playoffs will be played. The last day of the tournament is reserved for the playoff finals, that is, the semi-finals and the grand final, after which the first RES Regional Series Finals champion will be crowned in Belgrade.
