BIG has returned to a full German lineup by bringing in former 00NATION duo Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz and Florian "syrsoN" Rische.
A little over half a year after their arrival, Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski and Elias "s1n" Stein are leaving BIG. Let us remind you that BIG switched to communication in English because of the Poles, but the big changes they introduced did not bring the desired results, especially this year.
BIG experienced a complete fiasco in the EU RMR closed qualifiers, due to which they said goodbye to potential participation in the first CS2 Major, and then failed in the spring BLAST group stage, as well as in the IEM Katowice play-in stage.
Even so, BIG just returned to the top 20 teams in the world today, but that is little consolation for the leading German CS2 team.
BIG took advantage of the breakup of the 00Nation team, and the main news is the return of syrsoN, who spent three years actively playing for BIG, and then almost a year on the bench. With him comes JDC, who became famous playing for MOUZ from March 2022, when he was promoted from the academy to the first team, until June of the following year.
BIG now consists of:
Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz
Florian "syrsoN" Rische
Jon "JDC" de Castro
David "prosus" Hesse
Karim "Krimbo" Moussa
Fiath "gob b" Dayik - coach
If they don't play anywhere during February, BIG will debut a new line-up on March 6th at BLAST PREmier Spring Showdown 2024.
