undefined

The CS2 team of Serbia managed to win the first place in the D group and advance to the quarterfinals of the IESF 2024 competition, where they will fight for the largest part of the prize fund, which amounts to $240,000.

A squad consisting of four Partizan players and Ivan "choiv7" Živkovic had an excellent 3-0 start early in the competition, beating Argentina 13-10, Mongolia 13-6 and the Czech Republic 13-10, before they were finally stopped today by Slovakia and only after a 16-13 overtime win over Mirage.

Serbia recovered and secured first place in the group with a convincing 13-2 win against the Republic of South Africa in the last round.

From group D, next to Serbia, Mongolia went further.

Sweden and Poland, represented by Metizport - perhaps the favorite of the tournament and Permitta Esports - triumphed as expected in Group A. In Group C, Kazakhstan dominated by recording all five victories, while the second place was taken by Romanian Nexus. In Group B, not all matches are over yet, Alternate Attax brought Germany a pass with four wins, behind them are currently Portugal's Ryno and Hungary with a 3-1 score.

With this victory, Serbia secured a minimum of $12,500 as the prize for the quarterfinals, and the winner of the tournament will take home a whopping $100,000.">The CS2 team of Serbia managed to win the first place in the D group and advance to the quarterfinals of the IESF 2024 competition, where they will fight for the largest part of the prize fund, which amounts to $240,000.
