Former Cloud9 AWPer Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov has joined Team Spirit where he will continue his career.
In October, Sh1ro surprised CS2 fans when he decided to leave the Cloud9 team on his own. To this day, it has not been known what exactly was the reason for his departure from the team where he spent over four and a half years, including the period of playing for the Gambit Academy. What we do know is that he will continue his career with Team Spirit.
The portal HLTV reported that the transfer agreement was established before the BetBom Dacha tournament where Team Spirit won the title and showed that it worked very well, and it was AWPer Artem "ArtFr0st" Kharitonov who came from the academy who was one of the best players .
He will now have to make room for sh1ro, but after everything he has shown there will surely be an opportunity in some team for this extremely talented player.
It is understandable that Team Spirit could not miss the opportunity to bring one of the biggest stars of the CIS region, and with him Danil "donk" Kryshkovets Spirit has the potential to become one of the best teams in the world next year.
