Russian CS veteran Denis "seized" Kostin issued a statement today that he is no longer a 9 Pandas player.
In an emotional farewell message from the organization, seized confirmed the rumors that he was leaving the team, and then added that this news came as a big surprise to him.
He said that he will need some time to collect his thoughts and decide what to do next, which is why he will take a little break, but also that he is open to different offers - from players, to coaches, all the way to media roles, probably referring to commentators and analysts , but that he thinks he still has a lot to offer as an active player and would like to continue his playing career.
Seized spent almost two years as the captain of the 9 Pandas team, and with them became the tragedy of the PGL Copenhagen Major when they had to miss the first CS2 Major due to visa problems, even though they were the last team to qualify for it.
He will be replaced by Aleksandr "shalfey" Marenov, a 21-year-old player who built his career in the EXTREMUM and Team Unique teams, and spent the previous two and a half years in the FORZE team, where he played until April, when the organization decided to temporarily withdraw from the competition.
The new coach of the team, Artem "Fierce" Ivanov, arrived with him, while the current coach Andrey "Xoma" Mironenko moved to Virtus.pro.
