Experienced Martin "STYKO" Styk who previously played for Apex has arrived in Monte where he will continue his career.
STYKO spent the previous two years in the Apeks team, which recently decided to disband the team. And while the other players were put on the transfer list, STYKO was freed from obligations and had the opportunity to look for a new environment without any compensation, which the Ukrainian organization was able to use.
Competing for 13 years, STYKO has played for teams such as nEophyte, eSuba, HellRaisers, mousesports, and GODSENT throughout his storied career, competing competitively in three different versions of CS esports in total.
Monte was left without two players at the end of February, when Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev left the team and Alexander "br0" Bro was sold to Astralis, and now they are one step closer to having a full first team again.
Meanwhile, Ali "hAdji" Hainouss, who has not played for 3DMAX since March, will play for the team at IEM Dallas 2024 and the upcoming online tournaments.
Monte is currently ranked 27th in the HLTV rankings, and they are close to falling out of the top 30, which is probably why they are also looking to rebuild a stable five as soon as possible with which they will return to the top 20 teams.
