Former G2 Esports player Justin "jks" Savage is rumored to be playing for Team Liquid in the BLAST Premier Fall tournament.
Portal HLTV has learned that jks has been registered as a starting player in Liquid for the autumn BLAST, as well as Polish sniper Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak.
Jks spent a little more than a year in the G2 team, with which he won the BLAST World Final 2022, IEM Katowice 2023 and IEM Cologne 2023, before being transferred to the bench in November last year. He remained part of the organization until the end of February this year, when he was released as a free agent.
Liquid still officially has four players in the active lineup, but Felipe "skullz" Medeiros has been rumored to be moving to Team FURIA for a long time.
They are also left without a coach, and the vacant position should be filled by Dane Torbjorn "mithR" Nyborg, who previously coached Apex.
Their new sniper, Ultimate, played for Illuminar Gaming until June where he spent three months, having previously played for NOM Esports, Turow Zgorzelec and AGO Esports.
Such a turn of events would also mean that Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken will most likely take over the position of captain and team leader, and Team Liquid should play in the following lineup in the coming period:
Keith "NAF" Markovic
Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken
Mareks "YEKINDAR" Galinskis
Justin "jks" Savage
Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak
Torbjorn "mithR" Nyborg - coach
