Danish coach Allan "Rejin" Petersen has been introduced as a new member of the Team SoloMid CS2 squad.
Almost a month ago, the first rumors surfaced that Rejin would be coming to TSM, which was left without a head coach when Remy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam returned to Team Vitality.
The former MOUZ coach is best known for the scandal that befell him in 2020 when he was permanently banned from Major tournaments by the ESIC organization for using a bug while he was still at the helm of Tricked Esports.
Immediately after that, he was fired from MOUZ, and in the meantime, Rejin appealed and his punishment was reduced to a ban on participating in five Major tournaments, which expires right after the first CS2 Major, which will be held in the spring in Copenhagen.
Rejin has been coaching since 2017, and after MOUZ he tried his hand at other roles, first as a coach of MAD Lions, then as an analyst in the Entropiq team, and finally spent five months in the position of sports director of Sashi Esports, with whom he ended his cooperation in November.
As stated in the official announcement, Rejin has already spent a month with the team and played an important role in their placement in the ESL Challenger League.
TSM now has a coach again, but they are down to four players as Cai "CYPHER" Watson was sold to BLEED Esports.
