Former Major champion William "RUSh" Wierzba has joined the Party Astronauts team after a long hiatus.
The popular American CS player has spent the previous two years playing for Evil Geniuses, where he has been on the bench since June 2023. He left the team just a month later and we haven't seen him in action since.
RUSH was originally open for a coaching position as well, and briefly worked at the Mind and Body organization as a fitness coach.
In the meantime, he started playing CS2, which he enjoyed more and more, and when the opportunity arose in Astronauts - he took advantage of it. Namely, they lost a player when Colby "Walco" Walsh left the team after only three weeks and moved to NRG.
RUSH, who competed in CS:GO for ten years and won the Boston ELEAGUE Major with Cloud9, will have to prove himself all over again in the new version of CS esports, and in his derby, his team defeated Take Flyte in two Bo1 matches in the ESL Challenger League .
