BLEED Esports is the first team to secure participation in the playoffs of the first season of the RES European Series tournament, after defeating Young Ninjas 2-0 in the battle for the first place in Group A.
BLEED with Vladan "VLDN" Radević continues to achieve success, and they finished the group stage of RES Season 1 without losing a map. At the start of the tournament, they outplayed BLEED in a big derby, and then it was the turn of Young Ninjas, who beat AMKAL in the first round.
The Romanian Laurentiu "lauNX" Tarlea was absent from the team, and Cai "CYPHER" Watson, who previously took a break for one match, returned to the team.
BLEED opened the match with a victory on their pick Mirage, where with an excellent game in the second half, they made up for a 5-7 deficit and achieved a 13-9 victory. Nuke was much more uncertain, and Josef "faveN" Baumann with a great output of 27 frags, 109.3 damage per round and 1.79 rating lead BLEED to a 13-11 victory in the very end of the regular part of the map.
With this performance, BLEED has secured a minimum of 15 points in the points ranking for the current RES season, and if they continue with good results, they can potentially win 100 points, which is the number of points awarded for the first place in the tournament.
