With the end of the closed qualifiers for the Asian RMR tournament, the list of participants in the RMR Major qualifiers in all three regions is complete.
A total of 56 teams in three regions will compete for 24 places in the second consecutive CS2 Major, which will be held in China at the end of the year. The first completed European qualifications, which we wrote about in more detail in this text, will also end the RMR round of the competition, since the last one will end.
As a reminder, the EU RMR will be held from November 17th to the 24th, the Asian one from the 11th to the 14th, and the American one from the 12th to the 15th, while the Major itself will be played from November 30th to December 15th.
American fans will have one more representative at the Major this time, after a slight drop in results from Europe, which completely dominated the Major tournaments in the past period. A total of eight teams were directly invited to the US RMR - Team Liquid, FURIA, Complexity, 9z Team, paiN Gaming, MiBR, M80 and Imperial. Coming from the qualifiers are Wildcard, Nouns Esports, BOSS and Legacy from the NA qualifiers, and Case Esports, BESTIA, KRU Esports and RED Canids from the NA qualifiers.
And while in America four teams will fight to go to the Major, Asia and Oceania will have three representatives. Eight teams will fight for these three slots, and directly invited to RMR are The MongolZ, FlyQuest and Lynn Vision. Their challengers will be TALON, Rare Atom, GR Gaming, Alter Ego and DRILLAS.
