Ninjas in Pajamas replaced three players and coach

Swedish esports organization Ninjas in Pajamas have confirmed major changes to their CS2 team following their disaster at the EU RMR qualifiers for the PGL Copenhagen Major.

NiP is one of the first two teams to be relegated from EU RMR A, finishing the tournament winless with an overall record of 0-3. They first lost two close matches against Eternal Fire who defeated them in the last round of the regular part of the match, and then against the AMKAL team with whom they played a marathon match in which we saw four overtimes.

Even after that, Ninjas were expected to bounce back and have a chance of going to the Major, but then a cold shower followed in the form of a major debacle in their first and would turn out to be the only Bo3 match of the tournament, when Portugal's SAW outclassed them 2- 0 in a match where NiP took single digit rounds overall (5-13 Ancient, 3-13 Nuke).

Especially incredible was the performance of rookie Alejandro "alex" Masenat who made only six frags for the entire match, a match that ended with a 0.33 rating.

Interestingly, alex is one of the two players remaining with the team, along with Fredrik "REZ" Sterner, while Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke, Patrick "es3tag" Hansen and Danill "headtr1ck" Valitov are leaving the team. Also removed from the team were coach Daniel "djL" Narančić and analyst Thomas "haste" Dyrensborg.

Until they find new players, NiP will play with academy members, namely Max "maxter" Jansson, Leo "Silence" Ingvarsson and Maoz "BluePho3nix" Paz. The team will be temporarily led by Bjorn "THREAT" Pers as coach.
