ASTRALIS REPLACED BLAMEF

Astralis recently announced that Benjamin "blameF" Bremer has been removed from the first team and is available for sale.

BlameF will no longer lead Astralis, after just over two years spent with the team. He came to Astralis from the Complexity team in November 2011, and in the period that followed, Astralis was nowhere near the success that all CS:GO fans remember him for, and how much Astralis has failed in the last two years is best shown by the fact that qualified for the Major competition only once out of four attempts.

According to rumors, Astralis invested two million dollars in reinforcements before the new competitive year, but even the fact that they entered 2024 with four top 20 players in the world did not help them qualify for the first CS2 Major - PGL Copenhagen Major.

For the most trophy-laden Major organization, this was a big blow, the four-time Major champions will not only miss the first CS2 Major, but also the Major that will be held in front of their home fans.

It was clear that changes in Astralis were imminent, and when all was said and done, removing BlamaF was the most logical move, as it was obvious that the team was not functioning as a whole and that they were not playing as a team in the way that is necessary to compete against the best teams. Saint.

For now, there are no rumors about who could be the new player and captain of Astralis.
