BLAST has confirmed that London will host the best CS2 players in June next year, as part of the final tournament of the spring BLAST series.
This will be the first major Counter-Strike tournament since the FACEIT 2018 Major, and the location will be identical - OVO Wembley Arena, which has a capacity of 12,000 seats.
BLAST has confirmed that we will still be seeing eight teams in the finals of the tournament that will battle for the $425,000 prize pool from June 12-16. It remains to be seen if something in the structure of the competition will change, or if everything will continue as usual for the next year, before the new rule imposed by Valve regarding franchise competitions comes into force in 2025.
Winning the tournament will earn the winner a ticket to the BLAST World Final, which will take place in December next year.
The public will be able to purchase tickets for the BLAST Premier Spring Finals from Wednesday 25 October, with tickets going on sale two days later.
