GamerLegion replaces 9Pandas at the PGL Copenhagen Major

Russian team forced to miss PGL Copenhagen Major due to visa issues. Only three of the five players were able to show up in Denmark in time, forcing PGL to replace them with GamerLegion, who they defeated in the final playoff round to qualify for the competition.

The team led by Dennis "seized" Kostin will not play in the first CS2 Major, although they managed to catch the last train for the tournament by winning the LCQ (Last Chance Qualifiers). Six teams with 2-3 performances during the EU RMR tournament battled for the final slot, with 9Pandas defeating first Astralis and then GamerLegion to much celebration for players who believed they had achieved their dream of playing in the long-awaited event.

Instead they will have to content themselves with watching the Major, and they are left with the hope that they will still get money from the sale of stickers even though they will not be playing (so far there is still no official confirmation about this, but it is definitely the expected outcome in this situation).

This means that the team led by Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski will still play at the Major, although it remains questionable what form GL is in after the Major qualifiers, having played only one official match, when they lost in the first round of BLAST Spring Showdown qualifiers.

The change in the composition of the Major participants did not affect the schedule of the first round, GamerLegion will play against AMKAL at the start of the tournament.
