ESL has revealed the direct invite teams for the upcoming CS2 tournament IEM Dallas 2024, and they include IEM Katowice winners Team Spirit, as well as crowd favorites G2 Esports.
From May 27 to June 2, 16 teams will battle it out in Dallas for a prize pool of $250,000 and a ticket to IEM Cologne 2024. Previously announced ESL partner teams such as FaZe, BIG, Complexity MOUZ, Vitality and Na'Vi were joined by invited teams - G2 Esports, Team Spirit, Team Falcons, Monte and M80.
All teams except M80 were invited due to their high ESL rank, while M80 received an invite as a representative of the NA scene.
All that remains is to see who will get a ticket to the tournament through the regional qualifications. Let us recall that Europe will receive two representatives, North and South America one each, as well as Australia.
Invitations to the European closed qualifiers went to Cloud9, Virtus.pro, Heroic and ENCE, while the remaining four teams will come from the two open qualifiers.
