G2 and Astralis in the semifinals of BLAST World Final 2024

undefined

G2 Esports and Astralis took first place in the groups and secured a direct passage to the semi-finals of the final BLAST tournament.

G2 and Spirit played another top match, and G2 celebrated for the fourth time, the third time in a row without losing a map. The match started on Anubis and this was also only the second map in the clashes between these two teams where we watched extra time. G2 failed to celebrate in the regular part of the map, but in overtime they were better and took a 16-13 victory, mostly thanks to a beautiful 2 on 4 clutch that m0NESY made at 13-13.

After they captured the opponent's pick, it was Mirage's turn, and here again Spirit managed to make G2 suffer, especially in the first part of the game where we saw a draw. G2 opens the continuation very well and takes the advantage, but their economy was extremely weak all the time and Spirit was shades away from the reversal.

Donk and m0NESY were in charge and the fans of both teams could enjoy the bravado of today's greatest young talents, but the support for donk was absent this time, although he finished the match with 51st frag and 1.49 rating, it was not enough for Spirit to end the losing streak streak against G2.

In the fight for the first place in group A, Astralis defeated MOUZ 2-0, and once again reminded the virgins of the game from their best days, while the playful Staehr made him company at the top.">G2 Esports and Astralis took first place in the groups and secured a direct passage to the semi-finals of the final BLAST tournament.
