FaZe and NaVi secured placement at the Major

Two giants of CS2 esports earned their place in the upcoming PGL Copenhagen Major by winning the fourth round of the EU RMR European qualifiers.

FaZe and Na'Vi may have lost in the derbies 2-0 teams, but they did not allow further surprises and defeats to drag them into the decisive fifth round matches.

FaZe Clan was better than the Turkish team Eternal Fire, which they defeated 2-0. As expected, EF put up fierce resistance on the Overpass map where they managed to win two overtimes, but FaZe ended up with a 19-17 victory. EF needed to win the first map if they wanted a real chance to win, as after that they were faced with Nuke, a map where FaZe performs extremely well, i.e. their strongest map.

It took FaZe as many as eight rounds on the T side, and in the sequel they dropped only one round and put an end to this match with a score of 13-5.

Na'Vi played another CIS derby, and this time they won against BetBoom Team. It is interesting that the captain of the team Aleksi "AleksiB" Virolainen led the way in terms of performance this time with 50 frags and a 1.37 rating.

Na'Vi opened the match strong with a 13-4 win on the Overpass map, but BetBoom fought back and won 13-8 on Anubis. Na'Vi did not allow the opponents to make a surprise in the continuation and with 13-7 on Nuke they confirm their ticket to the Major.

In the fight for survival, 9Pandas defeated 3DMAX 2-1, while SAW defeated ENTERPRISE 2-0.

In the decisive fifth round matches of Group A, the following teams meet:

9 Pandas - AMKAL
Fnatic - SAW
Eternal Fire - BetBoom
