ESL and BLAST announced the date of CS2 Major in 2025

Two of the biggest organizers of CS2 esports competitions have unveiled their tournament calendar for the coming year, including what fans are most interested in - two Major tournaments.

Starting next year, we will see huge changes in CS2 esports, after Valve decided to ban partner teams in competitions, that is, tournaments where favored teams will have automatic invites because they have partnered with the organizers.

The battle for the biggest competitions will be fiercer than ever, and all teams will have to continuously put up good games against the challengers if they want to stay at the top.

The competitive season will start on January 13 with the first BLAST tournament, and will end with the second Major scheduled from December 1 to 14.

The first Major in 2025 will be held from June 9 to 22.

BLAST announced a total of six tournaments, while ESL presented as many as eight events for the coming year. These two esports giants will once again fill almost the entire competition year together, which will make the remaining organizers have an extremely difficult task to squeeze competitions into a tight schedule if they do not want to coincide with one of these two companies.

Next year, the players will probably have two breaks - winter and summer, the winter should last from the second half of December to the middle of January, and the summer in the period after the end of the first Major, until July 23, when one of the ESL tournaments starts.
