Dev1ce extends his contract with Astralis

Astralis star Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz has extended his contract with the organization for another year, i.e. until the end of 2026.

These days, there are various rumors about changes in Astralis, and the target of many of them was dev1ce, who they began to link to various teams, from the Falcons, who are interested in every popular player, to the Heroic team, in which a big hole was left by the departure of Casper "cadiaN" by Moller.

Astralis fans can breathe a sigh of relief, however, because dev1ce has confirmed by extending his contract that he wants to stay with the team he brought four Major titles to and return Astralis to the very top in the CS2 counter era.

Just 20 days ago, IGL's Benjamin "blameF" Bremer also extended his contract, securing Astralis for the long haul with two of the team's most important players.

Dev1ce has been part of Astralis since they took over the then Team SoloMid in 2016, in addition to the already mentioned Majors, he won a large number of tournaments as well as the first Intel Grand Slam million title, he took 14 MVP titles at tournaments in the Astralis jersey and according to many, he is one of the the four best CS:GO esports players.

His departure to Ninjas in Pajamas in April 2021 was perhaps the most shocking CS:GO transfer of all time, and at the end of October last year he returned to Astralis after a long hiatus in NiP.

Since dev1ce came back, Astralis started to play better and they currently occupy the seventh place in the HLTV world ranking, but they still have problems reaching the finals of major tournaments, which is why we are most likely expecting changes in the lineup at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year.
