Coldzera leaves Legacy, Stewie2K potential replacement

The Brazilian CS2 team announced that Marcelo "coldzera" David stepped out of the starting lineup and will no longer play for the team, and according to some rumors, he could be replaced by the popular American player Jake "Stewie2K" Yip.

A two-time Major champion and one of the best Brazilian CS players of all time, coldzera helped Legacy reach the PGL Copenhagen Major where they were just one win away from making it to the main stage.

With coldzer in the team, Legacy managed to defeat FURIU and Apex, but TheMongolz were better than them in the key match.

Coldzera spent almost six months in the team he joined in September last year. According to several rumors, he is already looking for a new team.

What is particularly interesting and which comes as completely unexpected news, is the report of the portal Dust2.br which conveys that Stewie2K will come to Legacy, which means, among other things, that the Brazilian team will switch to communication in English.

Such a big change for a player who hasn't competed in over a year would be something really unexpected, but it certainly wouldn't be the first time Stewie2K has joined the Brazilian team, which could make for one of the most interesting NA transfers/ SA scene in the upcoming period.

The report states that Stewie2K will initially play for Legacy during April, after which a decision will be made as to whether he will be given a permanent roster spot.

Stewie2K, who among other things has been streaming Valorant since he stopped playing competitively, played a couple of matches in the ESL Challenger League for Mythic at the end of last year, but apart from that he did not compete more specifically.
