The Russian team BetBoom Team has changed its coach a day after being eliminated from the playoffs for the final European slot at the PGL Copenhagen Major.
Viacheslav "inners1ne" Britvin is no longer BetBoom's coach, the Russian organization has confirmed. They were one of the teams that were expected to qualify for the first CS2 Major, but failed to do so.
After the initial loss against Fnatic, BB defeated ITB and Enterprise, but lost to Na'Vi and Eternal Fire in the next two matches to advance. As a 2-3 team, they had a chance to reach the Major through the final playoff, but they were eliminated after the first round of matches when they were defeated by the Guild Eagles with a score of 2-0.
Innersh1ne joined the team in October of last year, when he came as a reinforcement from Aurora. He started his coaching career in Aurora, and previously worked for four years as an analyst, of which he spent two years in the FaZe Clan team.
With him at the helm, BetBoom achieved a top 6 finish at IEM Sydney 2023 and a top 4 finish at the BetBoom Dacha competition.
