Bad News Eagles signed to Guild Esports

The most successful CS team from the region, Bad News Eagles, after almost two years of searching, managed to find an esports organization to perform for.

BNE will henceforth perform under the name Guild Eagles, after they were taken over by the famous English esports organization Guild Esports, best known for having football legend David Beckham as one of its founders and owners.

Founded in 2019, Guild Esports has broken into several esports titles in a short time, primarily Rocket League, Fortnite, and Valorant.

In March of this year, they formed a women's CS:GO team, and now they are entering CS2 with a bang.

The Bad News Eagles have drawn enormous attention to themselves over the past two years, after making it to the Legends stage of the Major twice in a row as a team that played without an organization behind them.

They first cruised through the Challenger Phase 3-0 in the IEM Rio 2022 Major, before going 1-3 in the Legends Phase, playing against extremely strong opponents such as ENCE, Na'Vi and FaZe who managed to win.

They reached the Major in Paris with a dominant performance in the EU RMR qualifiers where they beat FaZe to advance and directly enter the Legends stage. In it, they managed to make a big surprise and defeat G2 in the second round, while ENCE, Apex and FaZe Clan were better than them.

And while they spent some time in the top 20 teams in the world, BNE are currently ranked 40th in the HLTV world rankings.

Guild Eagles will now do:
