BLAST: Vitality beat MOUZ, Spirit outplayed FaZe

undefined

Vitality and G2 have scheduled another big derby, while Spirit will battle Astralis for the BLAST World Final 2024.

It was not felt at all that Vitality came to Singapore with an incomplete team in today's match. Vitality was much more fired up, JACKZ once again surprised with an unexpectedly solid game for someone who hasn't played on the Tier 1 scene for a long time, while on the other hand the players of the MOUZ team played below expectations, and could not repeat the game they came to Rio with to victory against today's rival.

Lotan "Spinx" Giladi was one frag ahead of Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut with 35 frags, but with an excellent 1.61 rating, and when both he and Shahar "flameZ" Shushan are fired up alongside the main star of the team, few can match Vitality.

They opened their Dust2 pick with a minimal lead in the first half, but completely shut down MOUZ on the CT side, giving them just one round for a 13-6 early match win. We saw a similar epilogue at Mirage, this time Vitality had a significant 8-4 advantage at halftime, and in the end they once again won 13-6 and secured another top 4 finish this year.

Spirit and FaZe played another great match, and the second map where we saw two overtimes is perhaps the best map of the tournament so far. The match started at Mirage, and after an even first half, Spirit was more accurate in the end and took the lead 13-10.

On Anubis, Spirit managed to save three map points and win overtime, and after two sets of overtime, they achieved a big 19-17 victory to advance to the semi-finals.

Astralis and Team Spirit take the stage tomorrow at 09:30, while the Vitality - G2 match is expected around 12:30.">Vitality and G2 have scheduled another big derby, while Spirit will battle Astralis for the BLAST World Final 2024.
