BIG won the CCT Online Finals 5 without losing a map, earning them the $100,000 grand prize and a ticket to the CCT Global Finals 2024, where Aurora will travel with them.
BIG was the biggest favorite in the tournament after G2, and in the end they won the title without playing a big derby after G2 failed and were eliminated in the fourth round of the loser's bracket.
On the other hand, BIG was convincing all the time and with a total score of 10-0 they won the well-deserved trophy. They first defeated two Balkan teams at the start of the tournament, Zero Tenacity and Guild Eagles, and then Russian teams fell in front of them - 9Pandas and Aurora twice.
Aurora managed to defeat the Guild Eagles 2-1 in the finals of the loser's bracket and thus secured the second slot at the CCT Global Finals, which will be held next year in May and whose total prize fund will be half a million dollars.
With this, all the places from the qualifications have been filled, and there are still five slots left, for which we still do not know who they will belong to and whether direct invitations will be awarded. The current roster for the final tournament is:
