BIG fired the coach

BIG confirmed today that Faith "gob b" Dayik is leaving the German esports organization after seven and a half years.

Gob b has been a part of BIG since 2017, it can be said that he is one of the first members, and during the period he spent in the organization, he held several different positions, from player to head coach and academy coach, all the way to manager. An interesting fact is that gob b was the first German esports player to sign a long-term contract as a CS:GO professional player.

During his rich career, he represented BIG four times as a player in Major tournaments. After moving to the coaching position, he had initial success with the organization, but especially lately, good results have been absent, which is certainly one of the reasons why BIG decided to make changes.

Alexander "kakafu" Szymanczyk, assistant coach of the team, will take over the position of coach for the time being.

BIG is currently ranked 23rd in the HLTV World Ranking and will debut their new coach next week at IEM Dallas 2024.
