ASTRALIS, MOUSE, HEROIC AND SPIRIT THROUGH TO EU RMR

The fifth round matches concluded the closed qualifiers for the EU RMR, and now there is only a playoff to be played in which the remaining five slots at the Major qualifiers will be divided.

When everything is put together, we can say that we did not see too many surprises at the closed EU RMR qualifications, and that except for Team BIG and Aurora, the favorites did mostly well.

What is different this time is that most of the 2-3 teams will go on, that is, that they will meet in the final barrage from which five of the six teams will go to the EU RMR, because the closed qualifications carried a total of 21 slots.

In Group A, Nexus failed to repeat the surprise of the fourth round when they eliminated BIG, they were bettered by OG 2-0 with a top release from the team's new star Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenka who finished the match with a score of 41-14 in frags, 99.9 damage per round and 1.82 rating.

Fnatic defeated ECSTATIC 2-0 in the Nordic derby, while 9 Pandas managed to beat 3DMAX 2-1 in a very exciting match.

In Group B, MRS KOI beat Pera 2-0, MOUZ beat Preasy 2-1, while Heroic justified their role as favorites against sYnck, which they defeated without losing a map.

This means that the following passed directly from the EU RMR qualification.

Group A: Natus Vincere, Cloud9, Virtus.pro, SAW, BetBoom Team, 9Pandas, OG, Fnatic

Group B: Amkal Esports, Eternal Fire, Astralis, Team Spirit, ex-ThunderFlash, MRS KOI, MOUZ, Heroic

In the first round of the barrage, they meet:

ECSTATIC - Pera Esports
Nexus gaming - sYnck
3DMAX - Preasy Esports
