Team Vitality once again proved that they are currently without competition in CS2 esports by winning their second consecutive BLAST title with a convincing 2-0 victory in the finals against Team FaZe Clan.
The final, which probably won't be remembered as one of the more interesting ones this year, was marked by the powerful game of Vitality, who at no time allowed their opponents to seriously threaten them.
Vitality took advantage of the absence of FaZe's star on the first map. Robin "ropz" Kool finished Inferno with just seven frags and a 0.76 rating, while Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was up to the task once again, ultimately earning him the MVP title.
Vitality took an 8-4 lead playing the CT side, only to completely outclass FaZe on the T side and finish the map with a 13-5 score.
FaZe opened up Nuke much better where they managed to take a 5-2 lead on the T side, but Vitality managed to stop them in time, turn it around to 7-5 by halftime and then without any major problems despite the lost pistol round triumphing 13-7 on another map.
In addition to the winner of the tournament itself, we must not forget the winner of the Arena Esport Fantasy League, in which a tense race between several players took place until the very end, and Stefan_L97 emerged as the winner in the end, who expertly put together a team made up of players from two leading teams ( ZywOo, apEX, frozen and karrigan) completed by TeSeS.
