Famous Swedish CS player Richard "Xizt" Landstrom is back in Ninjas in Pyjamas, and this time he will be leading their CS2 team from a coaching position.
Xizt who spent almost six years playing for NiP and was part of the legendary five that set an unbreakable 87 win streak in CS:GO esports and won the ESL One Cologne 2014 Major has returned to the Swedish organization.
At the end of the year, he left Heroic, where he spent a total of two years, as an analyst, assistant coach and finally the head coach of the team. He achieved enviable success with Heroica, which is why his decision to leave the organization somewhat surprised the fans, and whether he was already in negotiations with NiP at that time, we can only guess for now.
He will replace Daniel "djL" Narancic, who was fired from the team after failing at the EU RMR Major qualifiers.
Let us remind you that NiP was down to only two players, only Fredrik "REZ" Sterner and Alejandro "alex" Massanet remained in the first five, while the rest of the team was benched. There are indications that NiP has already found new players, including former G2 player Justin "jks" Savage, and what is certain is that in the coming days we can expect official introductions of new reinforcements.
