STYKO revealed his 2023 earnings

Slovakian Martin "STYKO" Styk surprised fans with a YouTube video clip in which he revealed exactly how much money he earned as a professional esports player this year.

Although he spent the last three months of the year on the reserve bench, STYKO can boast more than excellent earnings, and the main reason for this is the stickers from the BLAST Paris Major, the last CS:GO Major where Apex achieved a top 4 ranking.

His salary actually amounted to only a third of the realized profit in the current year. He earned a total of 150,000 euros from his salary, or 12,500 euros per month.

The total amount of his earnings is 461,253 euros, which means that he earned over 300,000 euros from everything else - stickers, sponsorships, YouTube channels and tournament prizes.

Due to the agreement with Valve, he could not reveal the exact share of stickers in all of this, but it is clear that they play a huge role in player profits, which is the main reason why Major tournaments are so appreciated, in addition to the prestige they bring.

He revealed that he earned 13,500 euros from tournament prizes, which is much less than the amount he used to earn from tournaments when he played for MOUZ, and when it comes to the prize fund from the Major, it is divided in half between the organization from one side, and five players and two coaches from the other side.

Just three days ago, STYKO officially returned to the first line-up of Apex to help the team qualify for the first CS2 Major - PGL Copenhagen Major, which will be held in March next year.
