Partizan winless after the first half of the Esports Balkan League

The black and whites tied seven losses at the start of the new EBL season and with a score of 0-7 they were nailed to the bottom of the table after the first half of the group stage.

A little less than a year ago, Partizan lifted its first EBL trophy and then it looked like it would be, if not at the very top, then at least near the top of Balkan LoL esports for a long time to come. The following season, they roared through the group stage with a total score of 12-2, but did not defend the title as they were defeated by Cyber Wolves Esports in the semifinals, which is why they had to settle for third place.

Partizan, whose worst result in the league so far is the fourth place they won in their debut season, did not renew the contract with the winning team, from which only support Mladen "Cl0x" Mitić remained.

Instead, the coach of the team, Atila "Colamax" Dudaš, returned to active play, and they replaced three Serbian players with no previous professional experience.

This approach did not bring results and the black and whites kept losing from round to round, and after a 0-5 start they decided to bring in the first reinforcements, Bulgarian mid laner Lachezar "Fenz1" Iliev, who replaced Nikola "Kurbax" Kurbalia.

This change also did nothing to improve Partizan's game, and Fenz1 had a forgettable debut against SPIKE with a 1-9-0 Yone.

Last night, Partizan had the best opportunity to record at least one victory in the season against the Cyber Wolves team, which was also at the bottom of the table with only one victory in six rounds, but they lost that match as well.

Unlike them, Crvena zvezda registered three victories, but also, like Partizan, they are in the lower part of the table, i.e. outside the zone of placement in the playoffs, while the first position is shared by SPIKE Syndicate and newcomers to the league, BeFive, who achieved a 6-1 score on halfway through the season. Reigning champions Diamant Esports sit in third place with a win less than the table leaders, as does another newcomer Lupus Esports.
