Spanish esports organization Movistar Riders entered the new year as part of a new entity they formed together with MAD Lions and KOI, owned by OverACtive Media, and in addition to a new brand, they added a new player and coach to their ranks.
Currently the 24th team in the world, MRS is entering a new era while at the same time they have been trying for a long time to establish a stable first team and permanent five.
The team, which will perform under the name Movistar Riders KOI from now on, brought in Renato "stadodo" Gonclaves, a former member of For The Win Esports, while Eloy "deLonge" Suarez took over the position of coach.
MRS was left without a coach when Galder "bladE" Barcena decided not to renew his contract with the organization, while their former AWPer Antonio "MartinezSa" Martinez moved to Team 9z.
