FaZe Clan won the third CS2 tournament in a row

FaZe clinched the CS Asia Championship 2 title after defeating MOUZ 2-0 in the grand finals to continue an incredible 15-game winning streak.

After IEM Sydney and the Thunderpick World Championship, FaZe added another trophy to their display case. Although some of the world's best teams did not play in this tournament either, FaZe did not have easy opponents and had to work hard to continue their streak of success.

They opened the competition with a match that broke the record for the number of rounds in one played map, when they defeated Ninjas in Pajamas 28-25 only after the fourth overtime.

In the match for direct placement in the semi-finals, they defeated MOUZ 2-1, after a turnaround after the defeat on the Mirage map where they lost in the last round of the regular part of the map. FaZe played better down the stretch with 13-8 glory on the Nuke and Overpass maps.

In the semi-finals, they played against ENCE, who came to the tournament in a changed composition with Serb Vladan "VLDN" Radević, who performed very well.

ENCE took a 13-8 lead with a win on Nuke, only to see two extremely uncertain maps. On the map Ancient FaZe won only after overtime 16-14, but on Anubis they won 13-11 after ENCE failed to win overtime in the last round.

Although they played the final less than an hour after the semi-final match, FaZe continued to have more success. They took a 13-7 lead in the title race with a win on Mirage, and it looked like we'd be looking at the third map when MOUZ went 12-6 on Nuke. FaZe managed to recover from the opponent's six map points and reach overtime, where after a marathon fight they take a 22-18 victory and prove that they are really in great shape and are enjoying playing CS2 with each other right now, no matter how long it takes (when consider the rumors of Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken's departure to Team Liquid).
