Team Spirit and MOUZ in the quarterfinals of the PGL Copenhagen Major!

Team Spirit and MOUZ advanced with a total score of 3-0 as the first two teams to secure a place in the playoffs of the PGL Copenhagen Major.

MOUSE dealt Team Complexity one of the heaviest losses we've seen in CS2 esports to date, humiliating the American team who only took three rounds for the entire match.

Although only a day earlier Complexity put up a good fight and defeated Heroic, they looked like an amateur team against MOUZ, and the difference in quality was enormous.

Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo led his team with a 34-11 record, 114.6 damage per round and a 2 rating, and it was already clear that the match was going to end quickly when MOUZ "kidnapped" the opponent's Overpass pick losing only one round.

Adam "torssy" Torzas marked the first map with an incredible 135.8 walks per round and a 2.28 rating with 22 frags, and MOUZ only lost one round on the CT side, and after taking the pistol round down the stretch they routinely finish the job in the next round.

Ancient followed a similar course, this time MOUZ opened the match on the T side with an identical 11-1 score, and all Complexity could do was take another consolation round in the follow-up, after which MOUZ put an end to Ancient with a 13-2 win.

Team Spirit and Natus Vincere played a much more interesting match, in which Na'Vi managed to steal at least one map from the best team in the world, albeit with the out-of-series incredible edition of Justinas "jL" Lekavicius who made 40 frags, averaged 136.7 damage per round and achieved 1.89 rating against the once seemingly unstoppable Spirit.

Na'Vi who had previously defeated G2 on Nuke continued to play well on this map, but a 16-13 win on Nuke was followed by two quick losses down the stretch.

The Spirit swept the Ancient 13-9. On the T side, they achieved an 8-4 advantage that they maintained in the continuation, and on the Mirage they had a slight 7-5 advantage at halftime, only to shift into fifth gear in the continuation and give up only two runs to their rivals for a 13-7 victory.

Team Spirit and MOUZ will now deservedly have two more days of rest to prepare for the challenges that await them in the finals of the championship.
