Team Liquid officially presented its new reinforcement tonight, it's Heroica star Guz "NertZ" Iluz.
NertZ made a name for himself playing for ENCE, and then continued with great games in the Heroic team, especially in the second part of 2024. He then played a key role in the team's breakthrough into the top 10 teams in the world, and when the sale of Heroic players occurred, Liquid managed to grab the Israeli, who was interested in many teams.
He will replace Mareks "YEKINDAR" Galinskis in Liquid, who was removed from the first team at the end of last year. YEKINDAR was under criticism all last year, he was in poor form individually, which is why NertZ if he continues to play well could make a huge difference for Team Liquid
Team Liquid currently sits ninth in the HLTV rankings, ending the Shanghai Major with a quarter-final appearance, which players agreed was an achievement, but it's clear that the appetites of such a large organization are much bigger.
What is particularly important to note is the fact that Team Liquid now has two players who belong to the Asia-Pacific region, which means that potential regional qualifiers for the Major can also play outside of America.
The full Team Liquid now looks like this:
Keith "NAF" Markowitz
Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken
Justin "jks" Savage
Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak
Guy "NertZ" Illus
Torbjorn "mithR" Nyborg - coach
